The award-winning signature restaurant Benjarong affords diners gorgeous views of the Dubai skyline whilst serving the unmistakable flavors of Royal Thai cuisine, highlighting centuries-old recipes straight from the palaces of Thailand. The restaurant’s majestic interior resembles the royal dining halls of King Rama IV, and the gentle sounds of our classically trained Thai musicians add to the authenticity of this unique dining experience.
To start with this amazing meal, I went for a fresh Coconut Water which is of course a traditional Thai drink, as known by all.
From the Appetizer we went with the Gai How Bai Toey, which is deep fried Marinated Chicken wrapped in pandanus leaves served with thick sweet soya sauce.
The Chicken was perfectly done, the marinated ingredients can be felt on every bite of it. The sweet Soy Sauce added so much to the character of the dish.
Goong Hom Sa Bai, deep fried Shrimps roll wrapped in rice paper and served with sweet plum sauce.
This is always my personal favorite at Benjarong, the outer layer is always crispy with the inner layer being moist and juicy. The plum sauce added so much to the delicacy of the dish.
Here comes the Soup and my Hubby went with the Tom Yum Po Taek, done with Shrimps, Calamari, Mussels, and Fish in clear soup with Mushroom, fresh Chili, Lemongrass and sweet Basil leaves flavored with lime.
I can surely say my hubby loved it as he was totally enjoying sipping it.
Mine one was the Tom Yum Gai Rue Goeng, Shrimp tom yum soup with Mushroom, fresh Chili and roasted Chili paste flavored with Lime juice.
It was of full flavor, tasted so delicious and served hot and fresh in a traditional Thai cutlers.
I went with the Gai Rue Nuea Kratieam Prig Thai, stir fried Chicken with Garlic and Pepper Sauce.
This one was so perfectly done, with all the flavors mingling it gave the perfect dish.
Here comes my favorite Gaeng Phed, Prawns red curry with mix Vegetables and sweet Basil leaves. This one was the hit of the show, perfectly done, tasted so divine and beautifully presented.
Khao Phad, thats the best Vegetable fried rice ever tasted.
From the September Menu I went with the Gung Hin Pad Khuenchai, stir fried rock Lobster with Celery.
This was like happiness in my mouth, my favorite lobster meat was shredded out and then placed with most delightful Veggies.
From the Dessert I went with Khao Neaw Namuang, sticky Rice flavored with Pandanus and served with Mangoes.
The Green Tea was served traditionally in a Thai decorated Pot.
Overall it was an amazing experience, if you have not visited this place you are surely missing on something.
