Feast at the Sheraton Grand is Dubai’s marketplace for the discerning diner. Feast is influenced by the seasons and underpinned by a belief in a ‘fresh from the market’ approach. The open kitchen and family-style service at Feast make it the perfect choice for families, groups and business meetings to gather, mingle and taste an abundance of flavors.
The seven action stations and a private dining room provide a rich assortment of dining experiences prepared to order. Grilled, glazed or roasted, it is all about fresh, live cooking from the heart and a healthy and modern approach to preparation and presentation. The open kitchen features a flavorful explosion of authentic tastes from the West, Middle East, India, China and South East Asia, all personalized for you.
I went on a Wednesday which was a Steak Night but first of all let me speak about the other lavish spread on the Buffet.
There was a lavish section of Bread all prepared on house and to name a few, Garlic Bread, Cheese Roll, Pretzel, Tomato Focaccio etc. Everything was so fresh and delicious and with the French Butter it tasted so divine.
From the Dressing and Salad there was French Dressing, Cherry Vinaigrette, Caesar Dressing, Balsamic Dressing, Mixed Lettuce, Carrot, Anchovies, Oregano Dressing, Spinach etc.
The Arabic Cold Mezze I went with the Moutabel, Fattouch, Baba Ganoush, Hummus and Okra Salad.
From the Indian Section they serve Chicken Curry, Lamb with Green Peas, Saffron Rice etc.
From the Malaysian Section my Hubby tried the Chicken Salad, Stir Fry Seafood, Spicy Steamed Chicken etc.
Here comes the Signature Salad the Caesar with in house dressing from the Sous Chef Johannes, Chimichuri, Sri Lankan Pickle, Confi Honey Garlic, Coleslaw, Mayonnaise etc.
The Salad tasted so delicious, freshly prepared and looked so appealing.
Here comes the in house Breads with Butter, Cranberry Butter, Garlic Mayonnaise, Tomato Salsa etc.
Laksa Soup, Laksa is a popular spicy noodle soup in the Peranakan cuisine. Laksa consists of rice noodles or rice vermicelli with chicken, prawn or fish, served in spicy soup; either based on rich and spicy curry coconut milk, or based on sour asam (tamarind or gelugur). It can be found in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Southern Thailand.
It tasted so yum and the coconut broth added so much to the character of the soup.
I ordered a Strawberry Mojito, I must mention here its not included in the Buffet you have to order it separate.
Here comes the most awaited dish the Steaks, it was done medium well and served with Onion Rings. It tasted so divine, the meat all juicy and tender, delicious and tasty.
You can either order it from the table or select from the buffet counter and choose your favorite veggies for sides.
From the Desserts it was a lavish spread of Mixed Berry Crumble, Coffee Tiramisu, Baked Cheesecake, Chocolate Tart, Rice Pudding, Arabic Dessert, Carrot Cupcake etc.
I was impressed with the presentation, taste and the ice cream too was all mouth watering.
Overall it was an amazing experience and our host Roshan Singh, was such a professional and served us so very well.
