Junoon is a place of gathering, a place of celebration, a place for business and a place for pleasure.
Let me start with the Tasting menu which had the lavish spread from their best work from the kitchen.
But before that we were served Aloo Tikki as a Welcome Bite. It tasted so delicious and done with Tamarind Chutney and Raita.
From the drinks I went with the Sandal Wood Grenade, done with Coconut Water, Guava Juice, Sandalwood Syrup and Lime.
It was presented so trendily on a Coconut, it was all again Hawai at Junoon.
Cucumber Curd Rice, done with Avocado, Asparagus, Mango, Cauliflower Apricot Chutney and Wasabi Raita. It was so divine and delicious presented in the form of a Sushi so you have to eat it in one go.
Eggplant Chaat, prepared with Crispy Eggplant, Tamarind Chutney and Chaat Masala. This was my favorite from the place, the crisp egg plant tasted so yum and popped in my mouth. Along with the Tamarind and Spices it added so much to the character of the dish.
Murgh Tikka Angar, done with Tandoori Garlic Chicken, Turmeric Puree, Arbi Chaat, Crispy Kale. This was so perfectly done, the Chicken was infused so well with the spices and tasted so delicious and divine.
Peri Peri Shrimp, done with Black Tiger Shrimp, Coconut Puree, Shrimp Oil Powder.
Here comes the Palette Cleanser, Lychee Sorbet from the house.
From the Mains I went with the Murg Kolhapuri, done with Dry Chili Smoked Chicken, Coconut, Sesame Seed, Kolhapuri Masala and Fried Egg. It tasted so well and the tangy hint just added so much to the flavor and aroma of the dish.
Shrimp Malai Curry, done with Coconut, Onion, Pommery Mustard. It tasted so very delicious, the flavors and aromas was simply perfect and it went well with the White Rice I ordered.
Lamb Shank Briyani, done with Mutton, Saffron, Mint and Rose.
From the Breads I went with the Amritsari Kulcha, done with Green peas, Roasted Coriander, Black Salt, Red Chili, Amchur and Anardana Powder.
Palak Besan Roti, done with Spinach, Wheat Flour and Coriander,
From the Desserts I went with the Chocolate Trio, done with Dark Chocolate Fondant, Milk Chocolate Chantilly, White Chocolate Vanilla Ice Cream.
Falooda, presented on a Chocolate Matka Saffron, Redcurrant Jelly, Rose, Basil Seeds, Pistachio Kulfi. O wow this tasted so very delicious and divine.
Kulfi on Table prepared with Liquid Nitrogen, done with Guava and Rock Melon.
