The Zoco bar sits at the heart of the venue and cocktails are our speciality. The menu serves up expertly crafted cocktails and mescals to enliven the Latin American spirit. Alongside a selection of craft beers and classic wines.
From the drinks we went with the Passion Fruit Mojito and Strawberry Mojito.
From the Guacamole we tried the Bandera and it was done with traditional guacamole from the central region of Mexico which combines the colors of the flag. Red (Tomato), Green (Cilantro & Jalapeno) and White (Onion).
It tasted so fresh, healthy and delicious. prepared in house and went well with the Nachos served.
From the Tacos I tried the Bone Marrow, a modern take on the traditional tacos found in the city of Cuernavaca. Roasted Bone Marrow, on the bone, served with braised Beef jam sliced radishes, chopped onion and cilantro leaves. Small with soft Tortillas.
O MY GOSH!! This was heaven in my mouth, the meat so tender and juicy, delicious and divine. I am definitely going back to try this.
Chicken Quesadilla, done with black beans puree, monterey jack cheese and tomato salsa. It tasted so delicious, apart from other places over here the balance of Cheese and the Chicken was so perfect.
Served with a delicious sides.
Here comes the Mains and from the Mar I tried the Sea Bass, which was prepared like a festive feast in Mexico and its full of rich culture of the country.
From the Tierra I went with the Banana Leaf Roasted Chicken, its half Chicken marinated in a chilies and spices called ”adobo” and roasted in a banana leaf. Served over baby potatoes and Argentinian chimichuri.
From the Desserts we tried the Mole Fondant, chocolate cake served with a ganache of ”Mole Poblano”, a traditional Mexican sauce with chocolate, chilies, spices and nuts.
It tasted so delicious, happiness in my mouth and presented so creatively.
Dulce De Leche, buttered layered pieces of puff pastry with Cajeta (dulce de leche) cream and almonds.
Overall it was an amazing experience and our host Joven was such a sweetheart, he suggested me the most delicious dishes from the menu. And thanks to him the food presented tasted so well.
