With light furnishings and decor, Morah feels bright and fresh and stars a sweeping spiral staircase in the center. The restaurant is a cosy ambient venue despite the two-storey set-up, spiral staircase and custom-made chandelier hanging in the center. All this is coupled with unobstructed panoramic views of Dubai, Burj Khalifa and the Canal.

I was invited for the Iftar menu tasting which was a set prepared already and priced at AED 250 in sharing basis.
Here comes the Dates, Sweet Potato Hummus, Homemade Labneh and Barbari Bread on table to break your fast with. I was totally impressed with the sweet potato hummus which tasted so delicious and divine.
Baby Gem Salad, done with chickpea crumb, green beans, sabzi green goddess dressing. This was my hubby’s favorite and I can see him finishing at one go.
We were served a traditional drink from the house named Habibi prepared with Dates, Apricot, Soda and Sugar Syrup. This was so refreshing, delicious and a perfect thirst quencher.
From the soup I went with Harira done with lamb, chickpea, saffron, chili etc. I prepared with a spike of lemon and croutons and it added so much taste to my soup.
From the mains we were served Roasted Lamb Shoulder, which was perfectly done with slow braised lamb, sumac, pickles and house lavash.
Grilled Boneless Branzino, done with chermoula, chraime, and persian lime. This was the best from the place, tasted so divine and delicious, it really melted it my mouth. I was totally taken away by this dish.
Will surely order on my next visit.
Mejadra Rice, done with lentil, labnah and fried shallots.
Sweet Jeweled Rice, done with barberries, carrot, saffron and almonds. This was again a hit from the house and with the fish it really added a lot of character due to the hint of sweetness to it.
Here comes my favorite part the Desserts and it was a lavish spread of :
- Strawberry Cheesecake Qatayef done with sumac strawberry, honey syrup and pistachio.
- Saffron & Orange Revani, done with mastic dondurma ice cream.
- Kazan Dipi
- Turkish Coffee Bonbon
Overall it was an amazing experience, the food tasted so well and with the perfect host Mr. Ken it became more better.
