So Ramadan is round the corner and Tresind is all set with their Iftar Menu prepared for preview exclusively for the Media. I tasted their Iftar last night and I must say it was so amazing, everything focused for the holy month and the dishes all delicious and prepared so perfectly.

So our table was set with Iftari Amuse Bouche which consisted of

  • Date Candy
  • Zaatar Focaccia served with Hummus, Olives & Sweet Peppers
  • Dragon Fruit Chaat
  • Salad Canape.

My favorite was the Dragon Fruit Chaat and the Salad Canape, really loved the concept of serving the Chaat in a dragon fruit and the Caesar’s Salad got fusionized with Lettuce leaves with in house dressing.

I loved the Rose Lassi served on a Banana leaf with rose petals, wow in love with this brilliant concept reminded me of my college days totally. The taste was so refreshing and the sweet was so perfectly done.

From the Kebab Platter we were served Tandoori Lamb Chop with rosemary reduction, this was so perfect. It was all juicy, tender, soft and tasted so very delicious. The spices was infused till the last bite.

Chicken Seekh kebab served with Mint Chutney. Served on a hot Charcoal and tasted so very smoky and well.

Tandoori Prawn with a Hollandaise Foam. O this was again another hit from the place, the prawn so very tender and delicious, the best part was the spices was perfectly done which can be felt on every bite.

Wagyu Boti Kebab, this was the best. The best Beef boti that too wagyu added so much to the character of the dish. The beef pieces was so perfectly done, totally melted in my mouth. I am definitely going back for this.

Here comes the mains :

Kerela Fish Moilee, the curry done with Coconut Mil and healthy vegetables and this was the best. It was served with rice which was a perfect combination. The fish was so very perfectly done, the gravy poured on it added so much to the flavor and aroma of the dish.

Here comes my favorite part the Desserts, Mithai Thali which had served some of my favorite sweets like Rasmalai, Gulabjamun, Baklava, Tart etc.


Overall it was an amazing experience and this Iftar treat yourself with some delicious delicacies on with Tresind.
