Ewaan is an all-day dining restaurant that serves a tempting blend of Arabic and Oriental specialities including a large selection of mezzeh. Enjoy shisha and live music on the terrace, or, for a little seclusion, relax in a private dining alcove.
But today I am speaking about the gorgeous, elegant and beautiful Ewaan Tent serving authentic Arabic Cuisine with a lavish spread of dishes.

Let me start with the spread which I tasted and writing on the basis of my experience. On one section there was Pistachio, Kashta, Skouf etc.

From the Cold Mezze I tried the Hummus, Tuna Salad, Rokka Salad, Moutable, Fattoush, Tabbouleh, Vine leaves etc. Everything was prepared perfectly and tasted so very good.

My favorite was the Grilled Section and they serve one of the best Grilled Prawns, Salmon Tandoor, Grilled Calamari, Grilled Lobster. It was prepared so deliciously and served hot and fresh.
We had some delicious Spinach Fatayer, Lamb Kebbe, Cheese Rokakat, Meat Sambousek.
Here comes my another version of Salad which consisted of Lamb Tongue, Greek Salad, Eggplant Salad, Chicken Liver, Cabbage Salad etc.
The hit of the show was the Roast Section which had my favorite Beef, Roast Chicken, Roast Turkey, Lamb Leg. The beef was the best, all juicy and tender, it really melted in my mouth.
Here’s the traditional Arabic Man serving authentic Drinks for Ramadan.

And here’s the Arabic Coffee Trolley.

From the mains I tried the Lamb Ouzi, this was perfectly prepared, the lamb all juicy, tender and so very delicious. It was served the most elegant way on a shell.

There was a wide spread of mains and to name a few, Buttered Mix Steamed Vegetables, Vegetable Mousska, Roasted Quails with Sumac, Koussa Bel Laban etc.
Here comes my favorite part the Dessert and it had some of my best sweets like Um Ali, Kunafa, Cream Caramel, Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse, Carrot Cake, Lemon Tart etc. This was so perfectly done and the sweet level was totally under control.
I ended my Iftar preview with a refreshing Moroccan Tea.

Dine at Ewaan for AED 250 and make your Holy month a delicious one.

Hello, we went to this Iftar last night after reading your article. For any other unsuspecting people who may go to this based on what you wrote, I would like to clarify what is really the cost.
We made our reservation for 7:00pm. We enjoyed the food and everything was lovely. However unbeknownst to us when asked by a waiter would we care for some juice which we accepted and then asked after our dinner if we would like to try the Moroccan tea of course we graciously accepted, that this was an extra charge.
When our bill came at the end of the evening, which by the way, we were rushed out of our table because they had to set up for the cheaper meal at 10:00pm, we were surprised to see that the bill was 640 dirhams. We showed the waiter your article and the price shown but he showed it to the Manager and he told us this website has nothing to do with them. We were quite surprised that they charged us extra for the juice and the tea for a meal that was already over priced for a rushed 2 hour experience.
Anyway live and learn. Just thought I’d let you know so you can share with your readers. This is not good value for your money. I would not recommend this place to my friends.

Thank-you. It was never mentioned that there would be an extra charge for the juice or the tea. It appeared to be offered as a service because we could see there was juice on offer and we didn’t look to see if there was a tea station. I will say the service was great apart from this and the food was very good. However, for an Iftar meal at this price they should include juice and tea! I knew they had another sitting at 10:00pm but did not think that at 9:00 they would rush you out of the restaurant. What would be the difference to have a few people sitting to finish their tea while they set up? It would just mean they would need to do the few last tables at 9:30. Anyway, I can send you my name privately if you send me your email address but I don’t want to have my name public with my views of a Dubai establishment for fear of repercussions. I am a teacher here in Dubai. I just wanted to let you know so you can inform your readers. Have a nice day!
