Awani is a contemporary oriental restaurant introducing the very best of classic Levant and Armenian cuisine, engulfed in the legendary Arabian generosity and hospitality. Serving authentic home-made dishes by expert chefs, the warm and relaxed atmosphere at Awani promises a memorable dining experience in a true Middle-Eastern tradition.
Using the centuries-old methods of cooking that distinguish Mediterranean cuisine, Awani caters to both the local and international crowd by introducing a variety of world-famous delicacies, on top of the popular traditional Middle-Eastern dishes.

The interiors boasted elegance, an open kitchen where you can see live Lamb roasting, the place decorated with hanging bulbs and the place all very spacious, comfortable and so very welcoming.

From the salad I tried the Papaya Salad Jar done with layers of fresh papayas, lettuce, corn, fresh mushrooms, red beans and the Chef;s special dressing served in a jar. The Salad was prepared on my table and it tasted all divine and delicious with the signature dressing.

Here come Eetch,a famous Armenian dish, bulgar tossed with onions, diced tomatoes and parsley’s, topped with fresh lemons juice and olive oil dressing. This ones my favorite, deliciously prepared and heaven in my mouth.

Beetroot Fatteh, fried Arabic bread covered in a layer of beetroot and cooked yogurt, topped with beef cubes, garnished with pine nuts, parsley and sumac. I am always a fan of anything that can be made with beetroot and over here it was the best.

From the dessert I tried the Ice Cream Othmaliya, done with special othmaliya dough and served with a scoop of Arabic Ice Cream and pistachio nuts.
