We were served Papad with 3 different Chutneys as condiments.
From the drinks I tried the Cool Doc and Virgin Mojito.
Cool Doc, done with mix berries, chopped apple, passion fruit and pomegranate juice.
Virgin Mojito, fresh mint leaves, lime and soda.
Here comes the actual drama where you get to enjoy a bit of gastronomy shelve where I tried the Dragon Puff, Green Apple Mousse, Deconstructed Dahi Bhalla, Papaya Shots and Pineapple Compress.It was fun watching the dragon puff done with liquid nitrogen and you just have to chew it and smoky it is.
Mahinder made the drama even more exciting to watch and Arnold my favorite helped me with the video. Such a sweethearts they are.
From the appetizer I went with the Chaat Trolley, =196 degree celsius fafda and yogurt chaat presented on my table with lots of live cooking to watch. The frozen yogurt in the nitrogen liquid tasted so amazing along with all the other spicy ingredients.
Mango Murgh Masti, mango infused chicken tikka served with sweet mango chutney, mango carpaccio and mango spheres. It was so delicious, the chicken all tender and divine and the mango flavor added so much to the character of the dish.
From the starters I ordered the Amritsari Fish, marinated cream dory coated in spice gram flour batter and deep fried. This was so very delicious, the fish was tender and the spices infused till the last bite. Served with a tartar sauce which made the fish even more tastier.
From the mains we were served Chicken Tikka Masala, served with onion and tomato gravy. The gravy was so delicious which went nest with the Butter Naan I ordered. The chicken all spiced up with so much of delicacy and spiceness.
Goan Lobster, chilli garlic lobster served with kokum infused gravy. O MY GOSH!!! It was so good, the gravy was just so amazing and I am really going back for this. The lobster tail was perfectly done and the spices mingling all together so well.
Crusted Sea Bass, sea bass crusted in flattened rice served with couscous and mango moilee. I could literally see my hubby eating it wholly and I dint get a share of that.But by his facial expression I can telling he was madly in love with the dish.
Here comes my favorite part the dessert and Roshan our host who really knew he menu so well advised me to go with the Daulat Ki Chaat, its rabdi with soan papdi, two of my favorite indian sweets, perfectly done and tasted so very delicious.
I visited the place on a Wednesday night which was a Bollywood Theme Night and the floor was all jammed packed with foodies dancing along the beat of DJ Akhil. I have never seen a a rocking party so fun on a weekday. This is the magic of Spice and Ice.
Overall it was an amazing place with delicious food, music and drinks. The ambiance is very welcoming and so are the staff.
