Big Chefs is an international restaurant, serving around 145 dishes across a multitude of cuisines. The menu offers signature dishes such as Farmer’s Breakfast, Chef’s tapas, Yoghurt Kebab, Blueberry Kunefe, as well as a wide range of hot and cold beverages. All the produce, from bakery to butchery, is produced in-house, using only fresh and best quality ingredients. One of Turkey’s best-loved exports, Where Big Chefs really stands out however, is the fact that they don’t just say that they focus on freshness, they prove it.
With its cosy living-room style decor and fresh sea breezes, Big Chefs is the perfect place for families to get together any enjoy a delicious meal.
To start with we were served house made fresh Breads and O MY GOSH!!! That was the most delicious and soft breads I have ever tasted.
To start with me and my friend ordered the Ginger Mint Limeade, done with spicy ginger ale, mint leaves, lime and vanilla syrup. This ones the most refreshing and what a way to start the day with.
From the Salad we tried the Uncracked Bulghar Salad, done with greens, chickpeas, fresh mint, cucumber, dill, cherry tomatoes, red peppers, pesto, sour sumac vinaigrette.This one was the healthiest way to kick start your meal. A must try at the Big Chef’s.
Vegetable Noodles, done with white cabbage, onions, baby corn, spinach, broccoli, soy sprout, carrot and soy sauce. This was heaven in my mouth, so perfectly done and tasted the best in town.
A definite try!!!
Rigatoni Bolognese, this pasta was my friend’s favorite, I literally saw finishing every bite of it. It was so creamy,thick and the bolognese just added so much to the character of the dish.
Grilled Lamb Chops, done with moutabel yogurt, fattoush salad and flat bread. This was the Dish of the Week and every week they come up with some delicious treats to the foodies.
The chops are so juicy, tender and succulent.
From the Desserts we tried the Kunefe with Blueberry & Mozzarella, baked kadaif with blueberry, mozzarella cheese, syrup and ice cream. This one was the signature of BIg Chef’s, the manager advised me to go with it and he was such a sweetheart to introduce me to this lovely.
Here comes the table service Tiramisu, so authentic and delicious.
Turkey Tea, is typically prepared using two stacked kettles called “çaydanlık” specially designed for tea preparation. When served, the remaining water is used to dilute the tea on an individual basis. Tea is drunk from small glasses to enjoy it hot in addition to showing its colour, with cubes of beet sugar and without milk.
Overall it was an amazing place amidst the mesmerizing Sea on one side and the delicious food on the other.
