Poco Loco is a modern Latin American restaurant where the flavors of traditional dishes meet today’s urban Latin lifestyle. Poco Loco’s cuisine aims to create sophisticated dishes from the South American continent, which are mainly coined by the influence of countries like Peru, Mexico, and Venezuela to name a few. The food is delivered to the table in a grazing style on first prepared – first serve basis, on small plates that are designed to be shared offering diners a selection of small plates and larger dishes, alongside an innovative range of mocktails.
As we were comfortable I ordered a Poco Loco Tiki Style mocktail and it was done with pumpkin with a touch of pumpkin sauce. This was so refreshing, delicious and served so well.
We were served Guacamole & Home Made Tortilla Chips, it was prepared with fresh avocados and other ingredients right in front of us. So it was all healthy, fresh and delicious.
Quesadilla Rustica, prepared with four cheese, habanero chilli, Tomato & Chimichurri, Corn fed Chicken and Braised Beef. It was all so cheesy, meaty and tasted divine.
Here comes the Taco Tasting Tray, it was a lavish spread of all the signature tacos from Poco Loco and here goes my list
- Soft Shell Crab with Avocado & Chipotle Mayo
- Slow Braised Lamb Shoulder with Salsa Pasilla Salsa
- Grilled Chicken Al Pastor with Tomatillo Salsa & Pineapple
- Slow Braised Beef with Salsa Roja & Habanero Onions
- Corn Truffle with Jalapeno & Lime
Again comes the drinks Rosemarry Chili Splitter, cranberry & mango mix spiced up with argol chili.
Beerita, classic margarita with a bottle of Estrella Malt Beverage.
Grilled Salmon Fillet, served with Cucumber, Herb Salad & Lime. This one was the hit of the show, the Salmon really melted in my mouth. It was all so very perfectly grilled, the salmon was of the best quality and so very delicious and divine.
Here comes my friend Pinna Colada and its always my favorite. Look at how it was presented inside a real pineapple.
Here comes the Dessert and it was just out of the Blue a Huge Boat with all my favorite sweets on board, get ready to get sailed with delicacy.
Here goes what was inside the Boat
- Churros , done with Cinnamon Sugar & Cajeta Sauce
- Ginger & White Chocolate Cheesecake, done with caramelized banana
- Tres Leches, 3 milk soaked cake with Vanilla & Pistachios
