I was lucky enough to try his delicious food all handcrafted in his kitchen.
We were serve house made breads in 3 different types, one with the Semolina, Milk & Sweet and Kashi bread, served delectably with Arabita sauce, Bail & Pesto Sauce and Tomato Pesto. It was fresh, warm and straight from the oven.
From the drinks Lawrence our host advised us to go with the Passion Fruit Margarita and Patricia Paradise. I must say a choice worth to taste.
24 Karat Margarita, done with Passion fruit, sugar syrup and lime juice. This ones was so refreshing, soothing and appealing.
Patricia Paradise, long and luscious strawberry flavors with a traditional twist of lemon. This ones my personal hit and you should definitely try this one at 24 Karat.
From the starters we were served Money Bag vs Roll and The Mastro.
Money Bag vs Roll, Italian beef bresaola money bag stuffed with goat cheese and
stracciatella cheese. Spanish cecina stuffed with ricotta, pine nuts, raisins and mint. O MY GOSH!!! This ones so delicious and with the stuffing was so generous and delicious. This ones a real hit from Chef Glady’s kitchen and the plate look so gorgeously beautiful.
The Mastro, toasted ciabatta topped with creamy staccialtella, anchoy, pink prawns, bottarga and ricotta pistachio. This ones the most delicious one, all very organic and fresh as this is how Chef Glady like to cook. The freshness of the cheese could be felt on every bite of it. There is no word to describe this lovely you can only know once you taste it.
From the mains we were served Black Spaghetti with Clams, Calamari and Bottarga. It was done with Squid ink spaghetti pasta with fresh clams, baby calamari cooked with extra virgin oil, oil, chilli, garlic and grated Red Mullet Bottarga. This ones the most delicious ones, he spaghetti done with parsley, basil which gave it a beautiful greenish color to it.
Overall it was a gorgeous plate with pinkish prawns, squids, green spaghetti’s.
Roasted Lamb Chops, done with tagliolini truffle, roasted laratte potatoes and balsamic shallots. The lamb chops was medium done, juicy and tender. The tagliolini was so amazing, I literally ate all of them. Italian twist could taste so delicious I never knew but with Chef Glady anything can be possible.
The Bar at 24 Karat serves the non alcoholic wine, the first bar in Dubai to start with an interesting concept. All imported from Spain – Zahara.
Zahara, these fragrances are a unique alcohol free sparkling beverages with natural fruits and flowers extract. Their astonishing range of flavors and perfumed sweetness seduce the palate.
I tried the Gold which was green apple with edible gold inside.
Then I went with the Violets & Berries, it was all electrifying to look at but tasted all refreshing and soothing.
Now here comes my favorite past the Desserts and at an Italian place I am on my 7th Heaven.
The Golden Bomb, it is surrounded by edible forest, The bomb was stuffed with pistachio, coconut and chocolates and laid on a bed of mud brownie all prepared house made. A hot piping white chocolate sauce poured and the bomb as you can guess blast with deliciousness.
It was heaven in my mouth!!!
Chef Glady combined 2 desserts into one plate so I got to taste 2 of his signature sweets.
Saffron Semifreddo, creamy semi frozen dessert with creamy balsamic.
Lieto, fresh Ricotta & Pistachio cake with mixed berry coulis and gold flakes.
This ones was some angel landed in the kitchen of 24 Karat and prepared with so much of delicacy and deliciousness.
The interiors boasted an elegant ambiance, very spacious and cozy, I was impressed by the bar setting all very gaudy and flashy with Zahara drinks on board.
Our host Marla was a pretty lady and knows how to impress her customers, everything was so good and memorable about the place and the taste still lingers in my mouth.
You should definitely visit 24 Karat!!!
