Thai concept offering a blend of Thai taste and senses – spicy, tangy, sweet and sour, accentuated with traditional spices, treated in a contemporary ambiance. Offering traditional Thai cuisine in a modern aesthetically environment with freshly earthy tones and energizing hues have been combined with natural materials to create a warm and welcoming feel.Water, pebbles and bamboos, essence of nature, have been used to emphasize the serenity and calmness associated with modern Asian ambiance. Seating areas have been segregated with levels to create privacy yet exhibit a dedicate sense of belonging within a crowd…The simplicity of plain walls has been broken with either textures, or, sharp, geometric edged black-and-white images.Rich Thai fabrics spell tradition in their accent, yet have been diffused with completely modern approach, thereby accentuating optical simplicity.
Lemongrass is all set to the launch of the new menu and this time you are gonna get surprised by the variety of dishes and flavors they have added on the list. Its not the old Green or Red curry anymore, its more of the sauces, crispy prawns, fresh fish on vegetables to be considered on the menu.
On arrival we were served with a welcome drink, Lychee Lychee. All done with lychee muddled with fresh mint and blue curacao, topped with lemon juice. The most refreshing one and the Lychee tasted so very delicious.
For Starters we had Tod Man Pla, deep fried fish ball skewers served with ajad sauce. OMY GOSH!! This ones the best and the balls all very fresh, juicy and spices infused till the last bite.
Poh To Piad Je, fried vegetable spring rolls served with plum sauce. My hubby is nit very fond of spring roll but I could see him galloping right away all the rolls.
The Salads were Yum Ped Yang, roasted Duck served with fresh fruits and herb salad. The duck was so very delicious, perfectly done and had a lot of flavor with the fruits they used it just added so much to the character of the dish.
Som Tam, shredded green papaya salad with chilli, garlic, tomato, dried shrimps, grilled chicken and lime juice.
Here comes the mains, everything new, a totally different concept with so much taste and creativity.
Pla Samunprai, crispy fried red snapper served with tangy tamarind sauce. The fish all fresh, crispy and delicious. The sauce added so much to the character of the fish, all sweet and tangy.
Goong Tod Kratiam, wok tossed prawns with garlic and pepper sauce. This ones my favorite as a die hard fan of Prawns. It was all done perfectly, the prawns crispy and the pepper sauce added the spice to the plate of dish.
Pad Kapraow Taohoo, stir fried assorted mushrooms with tofu with hot basil sauce. Veg can taste so much better and with the wild mushroom and tofu it created a perfect dish to try on. A big shot to the Chef at Lemongrass.
Pad Thai Je, wok fried noodles with bean sprouts, tofu and chives, served in an egg wrap. My old authentic Pad Thai all tasted divine as its always at Lemongrass.
Kao Pad Sapparod, pineapple fried rice with prawns, chicken, egg and cashew nuts, served in a whole pineapple. When it first came to me I really dint want to eat it, just stare it for my whole life. So very gorgeously served, the pineapple looked so gaudy and flashy, I wanted to take home and decorate in my shelf.
Now here comes my favorite the Desserts. All very delicious and presented so well.
Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango, topped with Coconut MIlk.
Banana Balls Fried and served with a Pandan sauce.
A pic with the Marketing Manager, Maxine and the man behind the delicious food, the grand chef Thira Khamwong.
