Tucked away on the first floor of DIFC’s Burj Daman, this chic, low-lit Italian restaurant is the Dubai outpost of Florence’s three Michelin-starred Enoteca Pinchiorri. Thanks to Annie Féolde and Giorgio Pinchiorri’s passion for food and wine, today, Enoteca Pinchiorri is more than a restaurant: an institution of gourmet excellence, a destination for all discerning food, wine and ambiance lovers. The Artisan by Enoteca Pinchiorri is yet another chapter in a rich culinary history. It is a sensational awakening and a celebration of Italian excellence, characterized by delectable dishes, an exhaustive wine selection, elegant interiors and friendly service.

This is a place where you need to put your best heels on and go with a style. The decor shouted out elegancy, gorgeousness and so very sophisticated. Everything was done in a Turquoise blue which added a lot hue to the place. Not to miss the ever dashing host and hostesses over there which will make you feel come again and again.

The menu was a lavish spread of the finest Italian cuisine and we were served the best ones from it.

To start with I ordered a Green Avenue, done with green Apple juice, Kiwi, Cucumber, Lime juice. O wow what a refreshing treat to oneself.

My hubby who usually never finds any drink to be that refreshing went with the Tuscany Forest, done with Blackcurrant juice, Cranberry juice, wild Blueberry jam, Apple juice and Lemon juice. And I was in real shock when he dint allow me to have a sip of it. I am sure how delicious it might taste.

We were served freshly prepared Breads straight from the oven and for me the place who does their own breads gets an extra point from me.

We were served Castelluccio Lentil Soup with black Truffle, everything that has truffle is my favorite. But here the soup itself was delicious, healthy and so very well in verse with the menu.

Lentil Soup

Zucchina Fritti, fried Zucchini flowers stuffed with buffalo mozzarella and tuscan pesto. The stuffed mozzarella added a lot of character to the dish and along with the pesto was a heaven treat.

If you do not taste Burrata at an Italian place then the meal is surely an incomplete one. Over here it was done with delicious roasted tomatoes which gave a delicious pungent flavor to it. Oh I love this place so much now!!!

And of course the not to be missed Italian dish is the Carpaccio, done with Sea bream with a green salad and sorrento lemon sauce. I loved the portion where in many places its almost served as a side dish. The taste has to be the best as well.

Now its Pasta time, Agnolotti di Zucca Mantovana, done with hand made angolotti and stuffed with mantova pumpkin, sage, butter and roasted almonds, topped with Parmesan fondue. I cannot ask more of it now, delicious bite of happiness in my mouth. Perfectly cooked with so much excellency.

Ravioli Di Patate, hand made potato ravioli stuffed with taleggio cheese, walnuts pesto and black winter truffle. This ones my favorite dish of the day, succulent and tender pieces of ravioli, done with perfection and served prolifically.

Of the mains, the Sea Bass, a fillet baked simply in a salt crust, and served with a virgin sauce shows how little interference really good ingredients need.  The first look of it was WOW from me, indeed a FISH in front of me and you have to cut of the crust to get the real meat underneath it. All that glitters are sometimes GOLD and so is is this dish.

Sea Bass Fillet in Salt Crust

Florentine T – Bone Steak, it has to be meaty and delicious at an Italian restaurant but at The Artisan its the best. Juicy, tender, succulent pieces of meat just melted on every bite. How I wish it did not finish at all.

Along with the mains we tried our hands on the French Fries and Artichokes, deliciously spread and a best snack out whenever you are near by.

The Desserts at an Italian place is always a worth waiting and here at The Artisan Profiteroles are the best. They’re covered in lashings of very thick chocolate so it’s a heavy end to the meal, but if sweet flavors are your weakness you won’t be disappointed. The chocolate fondant is another winner, and every bit as excessive.

Look at the gorgeous in the platter, you simply cannot take your eyes of.

The experience was simply amazing, there are no words in my dictionary to describe more of this place.  I can only say I AM GOING BACK!!!
