I was lucky enough to get an invite from the newly opened chain at Gardens just right next to my window. I must say wherever they are they will create magic anywhere and everywhere. The interiors boast a simple setting and you will find in most outlets the same ambiance. The empty Royal Thali’s were already set on the tables and it gave a very elegant look to it.
To do the honors you are given a grand welcome and your hands are washed like a Maharaja style.
To refresh up your mood we were served chilled Orange Juice, it was a thirst quencher at 1 in the noon time.
Here come the lavish starters Kulfi Dhokla and Paneer Lifafa along with Beetroot Raita, Coconut Chutney and Szechwan Sauce.
The Kulfi Dhokla was perfectly prepared, soft and delicious and it was done with 2 colors White and Orange to give a very ethnic look to it.
Paneer Lifafa, besan pockets of stuffed cottage cheese with spices. It was a crispier delicacy with generous amount of fillings.
Dal Pakwan is their signature dish and its prepared by Papri, Chana Dal Gravy, Tamarind Sweet Chutney and some Salads on. This one was the most delicious delicacies from the starters.
From the main course the delectable veggies were Green Gujarati Kathiwade, Paneer Pasanda, Aloo Dilkhush and Mix Kathol Chutneywala.
Every dish left a very flavorful taste on every bite of it, spices infused perfectly, very well done and the most delicious taste was the aftermath of it.
Rajasthani Dal, Rajasthani Kadhi, Gujrati Dal and Gujrati Kadhi was what you expected to be the hit of the show and indeed it was. It gave the same authentic taste, reminded me of my own land all thanks to Maharaja Bhog for recreating my childhood memories.
The other condiments swerved was fresh Onion, Chili Pickle, Garlic Chutney Papad and Chili stuffed Pickle.
The Butter Chass was a refreshing treat along with the other delicacies.
We were served Fulka Roti, Peeru Thepla and Palak Puri.
I was expecting a lot from the Desserts and yes they created magic with it.
Sitaphal Basundi and Apple Halwa, O MY GOSH!!!! Indeed a relishing treat to oneself. My personal favorite was the Sitaphal and it simply melted in my mouth.
