Being a foodie I always wonder why not Dubai get some Food Trucks in one place where we can go and enjoy all the food places under one roof and yes its seem like Dream Come True for me.Last year TruckersDXB got introduced in our foodie land and WOW what a success it was and a blessing for all food lovers staying here.
What happens when the best home grown food trucks of the country decide to stick together and build a new type of event only for foodies? TruckersDXB happens. Finally Dubai has it’s regular meetup spot for all the foodies who are looking for the best home grown food trucks. They have assembled the best home grown food trucks of Dubai to create the best original and regular events only for foodies. Come and chill on the grass every other Saturday at the Emirates Golf Club.
It’s the new community of all lovers of good and authentic food. It’s for the real people who can’t stand being stuck in a mall. It’s for the people who want to have fun, simply, unscripted.
Let’s build the culinary culture of Dubai together and remember #getoutofthemall
Truckers DXB Highlights:
- The JAM brings about 5000 Visitors every Saturday
- 12 best home grown food trucks of Dubai
- Live Music band & In house DJ
- Special Kids entertainment area
- Craft Market
I got to try my hands on at MOTI ROTI Truck, forget the usual curry house clichés. This is proper Pakistani food, the kind we eat at home every day. Wholesome, handmade rotis. Delicate, aromatic spices. Refreshing chutneys and pickles. All ripped from the pages of Mum’s recipe book. All made from ingredients you’ll find in her kitchen.
I ordered for the Spicy Chicken Roti, Chicken chunks filling with spices inside a soft bread.
My friend ordered Veg Pasta from DELI and my must say those were delicious bites of happiness.
Apart from these the other Trucks on board were:
Calle Tacos literally means ‘street tacos’ in Spanish and takes its inspiration from LA’s Mexican food culture, serving tacos (of course), nachos, burritos and quesadillas.
Yumtingz think burgers, including a camel meat option, sides such as truffle fries, and salads including roasted root or quinoa tabbouleh.

Bio Bean reflects the new food truck’s focus on organic and healthy eating options, including gluten-free and vegan dishes, while Bean reflects the emphasis on coffee, since the company will be serving freshly roasted organic coffee, with a variety of different flavoured cuppas.

GObai, this truck’s focus is on street food fusion, built around the flavours of Goa, brought to you here in Dubai. Beyond the food, there is also an ethical arm to this concept, because it will be using biodegradable packaging, as well as other carbon footprint-friendly kitchen practices. Once launched later this month, you’ll find GObai at Ripe Market, Times Square
Toasted, music to the ears of lacto-philes (that’s nearly everyone), because Toasted: Grilled Cheese & More specialises in gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. Also on the menu you’ll find fish and chips, hotdogs and custom fries.
Nom Nom Asia, inspired by the bold flavours of South-East Asia and draw upon the lively street food culture – but with a twist. The freshest ingredients and sizzling sauces to play with. Mix and match toppings and sauces to create a bowl which is as snazzy or soulful as foodies are.
You can also indulge in some quick shopping of your favorite jewelries, souvenirs from all around the world, dresses and so much more. Its all about getting out of the Mall and breathe the fresh air as we all know Dubai is like a Fantasy during Winters.
Its for every one from Children to Parents to Grand parents, spend time with your loved ones, friends and family and I bet you will surely visit again and again.
I am definitely going back the next Saturday to enjoy my evening the most quality way!!!
What are you doing Next Saturday?????
