Bean There Is an upscale coffee-shop concept serving a variety of gourmet home-made sandwiches, exotic fresh salads, a wide variety of irresistible pastries and desserts made fresh daily. In addition to the high quality gourmet coffees, a wide variety of tea and juices are available. Set with natural foliage and a five meter long bar that was hand-carved from a single piece of wood, imported from Indonesia.Now, Abela & Co, aka the same guys who bring you the famous IKEA breakfast are the latest to hop onto the fine casual bandwagon with their newest retail concept at Bean There Bistro at Millennium Airport Hotel, Garhoud.

The Interiors felt like home away from home as from furniture to shelves every thing is finished with wood and I have a very nostalgia added to wooden interiors as I come from the land of Tea Bungalows Assam, India. There is implanted plants on walls with their own irrigation system attached (MAGIC RIGHT?) which gives you nature’s bountiful beauty added to the place, the staff are very welcoming and they get an extra point for outstanding hospitality and service. During winters the outdoor seating is definitely not to be missed at all.

To start with we ordered a Virgin Mojito and Sunrise Mocktails, a good way to kick start your meal for the night.

From the starter section we were served  Beacon Wrapped Dates, its stuffed with toasted almonds, wrapped with beef beacon and sprinkled with crumble blue cheese. It was one of the best light bites, a smoky flavored beacon with the perfect mingling of a  sweet date, Yes I am sounding right!!!! Nothing can go wrong with this, try at BeanThere Bistro and feel the magic in your mouth.

Calamari, crispy panko coated calamari with wasabi mayonnaise, the freshness of the calamaris can be felt on every bite and it made a delicious combination with the in house dippings served i.e Sun Dried Tomato with Olives and Blue Cheese with Mayo.

Crab Cakes, sauteed golden brown crab cakes with arugula and sundried tomato aoili. This one was the hit of the evening, perfectly minced crabs with a crispy battered layer on top, it was like having the actual Crabs on every bite, very fresh and of the best taste and quality.

From the Sandwich section we were served Caprese Ciabatta, it was a Veg sandwich perfectly done with vine ripe tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil pesto, aged balsamic on grilled ciabatta. Veggie lovers will definitely go GAGA over this, the serving size is good for two and the taste has to be delicious and divine as it was from the kitchen of Bean There Bistro. Served with house made Fries and Ketchup.

Philadelphia Steak, grilled beef tenderloin topped with sauteed onions, mushrooms, melted provolone cheese, dijon mustard serve on a French Roll. O MY GOSH!!! The beef tenderloin was the hit of the show, so moist, tender, succulent and heavenly delicious on every bite. The meat melted in my mouth and was perfectly mingling with the cheese and the mushroom used. A must try at Bean There Bistro.

Served with Fries and Ketchup.

From the Salad section we were served Quinoa & French Lentil, prepared with roasted carrots, red onions, dried berries, chopped spinach tossed in Bistro vinaigrette and served on a bed of greens. o wow what a lovely!!! A lover of Quinoa in any form and when it come sin Salads I am on top of the world, the best, fresh and healthy bowl of salads on my table. The vinaigrette dressing added so much to the character of the Salad, a must order when you dine at Bean There Bistro.

Now comes the mains, I was thinking right if the starters, salads and sandwich were so delicious imaging the mains to be so much of delicacy.

Traveler’s Chicken, tender curried chicken, spiced chickpeas, light slaw mixed and fresh paratha bread served with Caribbean hot sauce. The chicken was very tender and succulent and it went well with the chickpeas served, the in house Paratha Bread was soft and hot, straight from the kitchen of Bean There. Served in a red hot cute casserole which was indeed one of the appealing presentation of the evening.

Salmon Buerre Blanc, premier fillet of Salmon with sauce buerre blanc and fresh garden vegetables. One of my favorite fish salmons gets all better here at this place, we can tell it by looking at the pinkish color of the fish which indicates whatever they serve it always has to be the BEST. I guess the in house sauce they have used had played the trick and made the fish even more tastier, the veggies left a flavorful aroma along with it on every bite.

Salmon Buerre Blanc

Now comes the favorite part of the meal the DESSERTS!!!

Apple Delight, sauteed apples with caramel sauce, hint of cinnamon, heaped with cream and serve don a jar. The perfect flavor and aroma of the cinnamon with the sauteed apples made it more tempting to me and of course the cream has to pay its delicious trick on.

Red Velvet Cake, perfectly moist, velvety sponge, frosted with a smooth hand whipped vanilla cream cheese. O the perfect and it got more tastier on every bite. Red Velvet has always been my favorite and this one at Bean There is one of my most hits so far. The deliciousness can be felt on every single bite of it, so soft and tender, so divine and delectable.

Chocolate Mousse Cup, rich and creamy dark chocolate mousse on a cup. Velvety, thick and creamy chocolates cream in my mouth, serve din a cute little mason jar. For all Chocolate lovers you will definitely gonna love this delicacy.

How can I miss Coffee at a Coffee place, a Cappuccino on the go has to be tasted. It really went well after the delicious meal, was refreshing and soothing on a Thursday night in Dubai.
