I went for the Mega Night i.e on a Thursday and my weekend could be better. The best of all Asian spreads, my favorites from Seafood, Sushis, Dumplings to Live Station everything came under one beautiful and elegant roof. name Blue Elephant.
To start with the Salads the spread was Roasted Beef Salad, Spicy Seafood Salad, Spicy Minced Chicken Salad, Papaya Salad, Glass Noodles Salad etc.
The sea food was done on a live station with spices of your choice, this was my favorite part of the meal as i filled my plate with Shrimps and Crabs. they were such a delicacy that i ended up having the entire plate which i was suppose to share with my hubby.
From the Cold Mezze i got my hands for Crispy Fried Vegetables, Prawn Crackers, Crispy Prawn Cake etc. They were delectable bites, a great way to start your meal.
Look there was another round of Salad on the other side of the restaurant, O WOW WHAT A SPREAD!!!! It consisted of Chicken Salad, Hiyashi Salad, Mixed Green Salad etc.
Here comes my favorite meal, SUSHI’s and here at Blue Elephant it was like flowers blooming in the gardens. To start with my favorites were Spicy Salmon Roll, Philadelphia Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Salmon Nigiri, California Roll and the list goes on and on. I have never seen such a huge variety of Sushi’s lined up in any buffet place. It made me fall in this place all over again.
I was led by the beautiful hostess and as we were walking my eyes got caught up with a beautiful artifacts placed in the restaurant. Beautiful green lush with waters flowing, reminded me of the Thai traditions and Culture at its best.
And to my surprise there are more food totally kept on a separate room and i got my most wanted dish, Teriyaki Chicken done with a sweet and sour sauce.
The other delicacies of that room had Breaded seafood, Mixed Tempura, Beef Mushroom etc. You cannot miss this place as it gives you some of the finest delicacies.
Now here comes my favorite mains and to start with i would first write about the Chicken Green Curry, always has been my best of all Thai dish, prepared with coconut milk and with Thai herbs which are being infused till the last bite.
I was not sure of Lamb gravy for Thai cuisine as i was walking beside this the Chef told me ”if you do not taste it, you are gonna miss something”. Very skeptical about the taste i jsut got a little portion of it with the Jasmine rice served. And Wow, i would have really regret it if not tasted. The best that could come out of any Lamb Thai Based Red Curry so far. One if the finest delicacies at Blue Elephant and its named Lamb Massaman Curry.
Mixed Sea food Curry, being a die hard fan o seafood this had to my kind of gravy with a generous amount of seafood being filled, it left a very delectable yet a delicious taste of it.
Now as always Desserts being my favorite part and this place serves the best in town with their traditional Thai Fruit to Sweets. Raspberry Cake, Fruit Tart, Mango Mousse, Strawberry Jelly, Sweet Potato in Coconut Milk, Mango Sago etc. Each and every dessert was like sweet bites of happiness inside my mouth.
Everyone has tasted a Chocolate fountain with Marshmallows, but have you tried a Mint one? No one right!!!! So here it is at Blue Elephant, one if the most delicious Mint Fountain with Marshmallows on.Do not miss this delicacy whenever you are dining at Al Bustans’ star restaurant.
There was a live Crepe Station, all fresh, hot and delicious.
To end my meal i ordered a Green Tea with Mint and WOW what a lovely way to serve it on a Blue Elephant Tea Pot and Cups, such a cute teapot set where you get the name Blue Elephant labelled on the teas and the cups.
I was lucky enough to get a picture click with the Chefs as it was a very busy night and foodie were rolling all over the place.
