Mr.Vishal the most vibrant and ever chirping Manager, showed us our tables and explained us the new menu launch of how the our simple Indian food can be prepared with delicacy and divine taste. The new menu is worth a try, all thanks to Chef Kunal Kapur and Chef Negi and the team.

To start of we were served Apple Delight and Peach Punch.

Apple Delight, prepared with Apple, Mint, Lime, Ginger Ale and fresh Ginger. It was way to refreshing and to start of with a Kunal Kapur meal this was the perfect drink.

Peach Punch, done with Orange, Peach, Hazelnut and lemonade. My hubby’s delight and i can make out from his expression that he loved his drink so much.

The new menu had an inclusion in the Chaat, Starters to the Main Course section and every dish tasted was just WOW from me.

Palak Patta Chaat, Chaat made with crisp fried Spinach drizzled with Chutney and sprinkled with Masala. What a gorgeous Chaat, why gorgeous? It left a gaudy texture with the beautiful colors to it. The taste was simply divine, i have never tasted a Chaat so better ever in an Indian fine dining before.

The Spinach gave a crunchy aftermath which we often find in any Chaat outlet but with Spinach it was heavenly delightful.

Eggplant Cheese Pizza, crisp fried eggplant baked with vegetable and cheese. A healthy treat to your Pizza’s at Chef Kunal’s kitchen, your very own pizza gets a modern twist with an eggplant as a base. The crisp texture was enough to make the pizza more delicious and firm. I ended up having the entire Pizza as you cannot resist them for too long.

Lemon Grass & Kafir Lime Prawns, Prawns marinated with unique paste of Kafir Lime Lemongrass, Yogurt and Indian spice. O wow what a small bites of delectability it was. The perfect marination as i could feel the Kafir Limes getting infused till the last bite. The Prawns were all juicy, tender and succulent and as you have it it melts inside your mouth. What a Delicacy, Really Relish till date.

The coriander spiced was infused till the last bite, it was full of flavors and aroma. No words to express this masterpiece at all. Only tasting will tell you how much you will be in love with this Indian delicacy.

Beetroot Shammi, beetroot patties tossed with royal cumin, garam masala and cooked on griddle. Nowadays beetroot has been on a hype, everybody has been experimenting on it with some new fusion dish but not as much as Patiala’s Shammi kebab, they were just way too delicious. A bright red in color but taste so heavenly delicious, it seems Chef Negi is blessed with an Angel in his kitchen.

Now here comes the mains, as in places where you get the best Chaat and starters you are always skeptical about the mains but not at Patiala, this place is all about the the whole courses right from the starters to dessert, every dish served was divine in taste and showed creativity in presentation.

Nalli Nihari, tender Lamb Shank slow cooked in a traditional gravy.  O wow what a gravy it was, still lingering in my mind and soul. I am totally a beef person, was a bit skeptical when the lamb came but when tasted it was heaven in my mouth. The meat all juicy, tender and succulent, it melts in your mouth. The gravy all thick and creamy, best goes with the Naans served.

Dal Makhani, (“Buttery Lentil”) is a popular dish originating from the Punjab region of the Indian Subcontinent. The primary ingredients in dal makhani are whole black lentil (urad) with red kidney beans (rajma), butter and cream. The traditional preparation of dal makhani involves a series of time  consuming procedures, which can take up to 24 hours to complete. However, with the availability of modern cooking equipment, including electric pressure cookers, the preparation time of the dish has reduced significantly to 2–3 hours. Information by Wikipedia.

The Dal Makhani at Patial was one of its kind, rich, creamy and thick. It went best with the Naan served.

Now here comes my favorite part the Dessert and this place has the most delectable ones.

Bhapa Doi, Raspberry Sorbet, Besan Panjeeri. The name itself sounds so exciting, as if whats on the plate? Prepared with Vanilla flavored steamed yogurt, house made raspberry sorbet with Chickpea Panjeeri. O WOW, What a delicacy it was, the dessert literally melted in my mouth, the sweet balance was perfect and the taste so divine and pure. The first look of it was WOW fro me and my Hubby too.

Mango Lassi Ice Cream, frozen lassis flavored with mangoes and nankhatai cookie crumble.
