I had an amazing staycation at Park Regis (Refer to my Blog) where i was able to dine in for their International breakfast at Le Metro, why the name as its very close to the Metro, easily accessible and deliciously spread. Le Metro is the hotel’s international all day dining restaurant, offering sumptuous buffet selections for breakfast and lunch and an exciting a la carte menu in the evening. Le Metro is ideal for different dinning occasions whether it’s a simple get together, a business lunch or a very special celebration.
I have never seen such a spread in the breakfast starting from Continental, Indian, Japanese to Chinese cuisine and i should never miss out the Arabic spread.
To start with the spread i was taken for a round to explore the menu and here goes my list of favorites at Le Metro.
The Juices served were all freshly prepared, i am always fond of freshly squeezed Orange Juices and i must say this place had the most refreshing ones.
The section for Waffle was live, the Chef will prepare hot and fresh with your choice of Jams and Syrups.
When the Bread section comes i just cannot look at any other food spreads, i guess i have some old history attached to it. Had tried some of the best breads over here, soft and fresh and best goes with the spreads of delicious Jams, Nutella , Peanut Butter kept on display.
Its a good news for all Cereal lovers as the spread was huge and in variety.
Whenever i think of Breakfast only this particular food comes in my mind, i have stayed in so many resort and hotels in UAE but one or two items were always missing from my hit list for Breakfast buffets but thanks to Le Metro they had it all.
Spanish Omelette, While there are numerous regional variations, the basic version is made only with eggs and potatoes, and possibly onion. The addition of the onion is often controversial and usually related to the tenderness of the local varieties of potatoes. To avoid confusions some restaurants distinguish between the plain tortilla and the tortilla (with onion). Info Courtesy – Wikipedia.
The Grilled Potatoes were my Hubby’s favorite, perfectly done with light spices and a very healthy perspective for Breakfast.
Now this ones my favorite, i am always look out for Sauteed Mushrooms wherever i go for breakfast and i must say this place had the best ones so far. Perfectly grilled with Oil drizzled with light spices. I ended up having a lot of these.
To my surprise the Indian corners was a huge spread starting from veg Samosa, Bread Pakora, Chana Masala, Batura, Upma, VenPongal and various spreads of Salads and Chutneys and Pickles from the Indian subcontinent.
The Egg section was live with special preparation for Fried Eggs, Omelette and Boiled Eggs.
Though i was already full with all the delicacies here are all the other spreads from the Chinese, Arabic and Continental cuisine.
My hubby tried the Ful Medames Condiment with toppings of Tomatoes, Cumin Powder, Olive Oil, Lemon Wedges, Parsley, Crushed Chili and Chopped Onion. I can make out from his expression that it was way too delicious.
The Arabic spread was a huge selection of Hummus, Salads, Cold and Hot Mezze.
Here comes the Cheese Platter.
I had the most delicious and enjoyable breakfast after a long time, a stay totally worth it. I highly recommended this place for one of the best Breakfast in town. The staff hospitality amazed me as every one of them were on the look outs for what the customers were having and did we need anything else. Sometimes service gets all the points apart from the food was so delectable.
