The Entrance

The interior will take your breath away, high up ceilings,to pots, pans as decors on shelves and a breathtaking view of the Souk Al Bahar, best for the winters. The hospitality was impressive and the food as always heard about to be delicious and pocket friendly. We as a bloggers event were introduced to the culinary journey of the menu.

For the refreshment i ordered the Classic Mojito, prepared with Wild Mint,Caribbean Syrup,  Lime, Mint Leaves, Goldberg and Soda Water.It was soothing and refreshing drink, all flavored perfectly.

The Appetizer served was Lettuce Wrap and Golden Vegetable Money Bag.

Lettuce Wrap with Japanese Sesame Dressing, butterhead lettuce rolled with shaved Japanese cucumber served on a bed of ice with a rich sesame dressing.

 

Golden Vegetable Money Bag, deep fried money bag shaped dumplings with mixed vegetables served with Thai Chilli sauce. A delicious treat and very appealing too. It was like cute little bites of happiness.

Thai Tom Yum Seafood Soup, spicy and tangy soup served with straw mushroom, prawn and squid. The flavor was so perfect and the spices infused till the last sip. A perfect way to start your meal with.

Devils Fried Rice, fried rice served with diced sirloin beef, chilli, pepper and spring onions in black pepper sauce. This one was the hit of the show, so well done and the ingredients were mingling perfectly. A must try at Leten.

Singaporean Fried Bee Hoon, Singaporean Style Stir Fried Rice Vermicelli with Curry Powder served with diced Prawns & Chicken & Bean Sprouts. 

Crispy Duck Roll, crispy duck thigh served in handmade spring roll in duck sauce, julienned cucumber and basil leaves. It was a live demo by the host, delicious rolls with duck was my first time experience and it was worth a try.

Szechuan Kungpo Chicken Fillet with Cashew Nuts, stir fried chicken fillet with dried chilli and cCashew Nuts in a Vinegar Sauce. A tender meat with the sauce perfectly infused till the last bite, the nuts gives  a lot of character to the dish.

Pineapple Chicken, stir fried cubes Chicken in Sweet & Sour Sauce, served with Pineapple, Chilli, Tomato & Onion Cubes.

Leten’s Mongolian Beef, sirloin Beef slices fried to a crisp and served with a sweet pepper sauce. As i always in fond of sweet in Asian dishes, this was one of my favorite. Crisp and tender meat, all spiced up perfectly. I packed this and let my hubby made it eat too.

From the Sea Food section we were served :

Baked Honey Cod Fish, freshly baked Cod Fish marinated with honey served with baked Cherry Tomatoes and Baby Fresh Beans. The fish all juicy and tender, the spices spiked so well, that the flavor can be felt and tasted.

Wasabi Prawns, crispy fresh deshelled prawns coats with Wasabi Mayo and served with fresh Watermelons. The first look of it was WOW from me, very gaudy and flashy, the taste all divine and heavenly. I am surely going back for this little dynamites of Leten.

Curry Mayo Prawn, crispy deshelled Prawns served with Curry Mayo Sauce and sprinkled with crushed Cashew Nuts. It was very appealing, a nest of spring roll pastry was made to go with the prawns which gave the dish an elegant and gorgeous look.

Now here comes my favorite part the Desserts, Carrot Cake and Chocolate Mikado.

Carrot Cake, Moist Carrot cake studded with Raisins, Walnuts & Pineapple, finished with Smooth Cream Cheesicing.

Chocolate Mikado, chocolate cream filling with sauce and chocolate sponge. This one was the ultimate way to end your meal,very chocolaty, smooth, rich, creamy and thick. A bite of happiness on every bite.

The experience was awesome,i would definitely recommend it as it is pocket friendly and the dish served are delicious and worth a try. I would rather suggest to go on winters to enjoy the spectacular view.
