If you love meat specially the mouthwatering, spicy selection from Indian cuisine then the Kebab Korner is your corner to satisfy your appetite. The restaurant offers the best kebab cuisines from India which are known for their flavor and spices, coming straight from the grill. If that’s not enough then you have a melodious evening of Ghazal to set the tone for evening. They serve a wide range of kebabs and some scrumptious curries cooked in the dum style. What truly stunned me was the decor, purely Rajasthani style from the ceilings, hangings to the seatings. The ethnic effect is augmented by the live music and dance performance in the late evenings.
We were welcomed with chirping and smiling Staff, our host Madan was so attentive and professional.
For compliments we were served Papad with Mint Chutney,i have never tasted such a delicious chutney before.
For the drinks we were served Jal Jeera and Chaas.
Jaljeera, a refreshing drink flavored with roasted cumin , mint and lemon. It was a refreshing treat before starting the meals.
Chaas, it was spiced or plain buttermilk.
Papdi Chaat, a mouthwatering combination of crispies, cubes of potatoes laced with yogurt and tamarind chutney. I loved the presentation of cute shots of papdis, i got some amazing pictures, stay tuned for my IG soon.
Dahi Ke Kabab, hung curd flavored with ginger, green chilies, roasted cumin powder and deep fried. The best i have ever tasted, the curd played the trick here and the instant taste of it was just WOW from me.
Murg Hazarvi Kebab, succulent chicken morsels marinated with yogurt, garlic, kasuri methi, chopped ginger, and cheesed finished in the clay oven. It was sizzling chicken, straight from the kitchen, the flavors infused till the last bite,
My friend ordered a drink Kala Khatta, i need not to explain because the picture speaks of it.
For the mains we ordered, Jhinge Ke Salan, king prawns cooked and finished in a special Awadhi Sauce. A delectable spread of coconut based gravy, thick and creamy. The prawns were succulent, fresh and spices infused till the last bite.
Bhindi Do Pyaza, lady finger tossed with freshly diced onions and capsicums finished with mild spices.
Tandoori Roti, fresh and straight from the kitchen of Kebab Korner.
Vegetable Briyani, a fragrant rice preparation with fresh herbs and aromatic spices slow cooked on with layers of vegetables and rice served with Boondi Raita. A light, aromatic flavored briyani, spiced perfectly infused. The raita was refreshing and very well mingling with the rice.
As i always have space for desserts, in an Indian place how can you miss the Gulab Jamuns. Condensed milk dumplings, deep fried in clarified butter and soaked in sugar syrup, garnished with nuts. A spongy, cheesy bite of happiness in my mouth.
Overall it was a delicious experience amidst the food, ambivalence and hospitality. A must try out and the live music during dinner time is an added advantage with the delicious food.
