I was invited for the delicious Iftar spread by RHotelsUAE, it was a transmission of delectable dishes.
The Date sections had a good varieties with some Stuffed Dates. Mascopone Cheese Dates to Candy Dates.
The refreshing drinks were Jallab, Rooh Afza, Orange and Tamarind for the Iftar spread. the other section of drinks included Pineapple & Vanilla, Watermelon and Apple , Mint & Cucumber.
The Cold Mezze spread had Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Moutable, Vine Leaves etc all decked up for the evening.
Now this place had the delicious Salads and i must say every bite of each was delectable and delicious. The spread was Thai Seafood Salad, Pasta & Tuna Salad, Egg Salad (Sri Lankan Style), Thai Mango & Papaya Salad, Spicy Korean Salad, Crispy Beef Salad, Tandoori Chicken Salad, Nicoise Salad, Prawn Cocktail Salad, etc.
Mushroom Salad,my personal hit of the event. A tender Mushroom filled with creamy minced mushroom pieces. A delectable and unique salad ever tried.
Prawn Cocktail Salad, a tender and cold piece of prawn laid on a bed of green salad. A delicious treat to myself.
Spicy Beef Salad, tender pieces of spicy beef with a pungent dressing with onions.
Tandoori Chicken Salad, perfectly marinated pieces of Chicken with the masala (spices). Very tender and delectable.
Egg Salad (Sri Lankan Style), perfectly done boiled eggs with a bed of tangy tomato salad, spiced up for the evening.
The Hot Mezze section consisted of Kofta & Kababs. Delicious bites of happiness.
The Bread section was elegantly presented, all house made flavored bread, hot and delicious.
As i was already full with the delicious salads and cold appetizer i grabbed up some of the Main Course which consisted of Lamb Chops. Juicy,tender and perfectly spiced up pieces of chops,spiced infused till the bones.
Shish Taouk, delightful pieces of chicken marinated infused spices till the last bite. It was delicious and delectable pieces of every bite of chicken.
Seafood Marinara, mix seafood on a bed of marinara based pasta, juicy and the marinara sauce all decked up with the pastas.
Tandoori Chicken with Mint Chutney, the tandoori spices all perfectly mingled with chicken pieces leaving with a tasty and delicious taste.
Now here comes my favorite part the Desserts and this place serves the best and the most creative ones.
Apricot Mousse, creamy layer of whipped cream as base with apricot bites on top, a delicious treat and garnished with edible sugar palettes.
Pistachio Creameux, minced pistachios layered with creamy texture of whipped cream, a delightful taste and served elegantly in shot jars.
Blueberry Creamer, delicious blueberries on a cream based layer served in mason jars.
Mocha Trifle, Trifle in English cuisine is a dessert made with fruit, a thin layer of sponge fingers or sponge cake soaked in sherry and custard. It can be topped with whipped cream. The fruit and sponge layers are suspended in fruit-flavoured jelly, and these ingredients are usually arranged to produce three or four layers.
A coffee flavored trifle for my sweet tooths.
Raspberrine, a jelly prepared with raspberry at the bottom with a thick cream as the second layer. Topped with a delicious piece of raspberry and choco sticks.
Tiramisu (from Italian, spelled tiramisu meaning “pick me up”, “cheer me up”, “wake me up” or “lift me up”) is a popular coffee-flavoured Italian dessert. It is made of lady’s fingers (Italian: Savoiardi) dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar, and mascarpone cheese, flavoured with cocoa. The recipe has been adapted into many varieties of cakes and other desserts.
