The Mazaher menu has been created by Chef Ibrahim Ayoub who was voted the UAE’s Best Arabic Chef of the year in 2014, the restaurant provides an Authentic Lebanese experience captured in all aspects of development and the guest experience has been designed to reflect the timeless elegance of Lebanese culture.
The elegancy remains in its ambiance, all done with white dates back to some royal living, a vintage decor and accurate details to every decorative s hanged. I can say i am in love with this place, just want to sit their and stare at the ambiance the whole day.
I was invited to taste their lavish Iftar and taste the best of Lebanese cuisine, and i must say worth try and evening well spent.
Our tables were already loaded with Cold Mezze before our arrivals and here goes the delicious list :
Kibbeh Nayyeh, It consists of minced raw lamb with fine bulgur and spices.
Stuffed Vine Leaves.
Shanklish, crumbled cheese with onion, parsley, bell pepper & chilli, also served with olive oil was definitely different.
Fattoush, is a Levantine bread salad made from toasted of pita bread (khubz ‘arabi) combined with mixed greens and other vegetables, radishes and tomatoes.
The Arabic bread served was fluffy, warm, soft and every bite with the tasty cold mezze was heaven after a long day of fasting.
The Hot Mezze had selection of Fatayers, French Fries, Kibbeh etc.
For the mains we had, Eggplant Fatteh, everyone should try make this delicious appetizer dish from middle eastern cuisine. The word fatteh means “to crumble” in Arabic and this is the idea behind this dish. Crispy bread topped with fried eggplant, chickpeas ,pomegranate seeds and pine, covers it all a mixture of yogurt with tahini. Wonderful flavors met together in one dish!!
Chicken Machbous, a whole chicken is used. The spices, rice and meat are augmented with almonds,pine nuts, peanuts, onions and sultanas. One of its kind and a delicious retreat to my taste buds.
Soujouk, simple delicacy, Pan fried soujouk with garlic, onion, tomato, spices and lemon juice.
Kharouf Ouzi, Lebanese Lamb Shank with a delicately laid bed of rice with pine nuts.
The Grill platter, a vegetable skewer, chicken grills and mutton cubes grill with stuffed Arabic bread, this one my favorite. The meat all tender and juicy and the spices all infused till the last bone.
Now comes my favorite part, Dessert and this place has got some real bad boys. All traditionally laid keeping Ramadan as the theme and vibes, the delectables were magnificently placed.
From Kunafa, Um Ali to Baklava all were heavenly delicious and wins me for its beautiful presentation and creativity.
The experience was unique and elegant, a journey to the Lebanese cuisine with the sophisticated ambiance just took me away.A place worth try!!
