I was invited by JivewithDeepti, an Asian Masala Award Winner blogger from Dubai for a Ramadan preview at the C.Taste. So totally dressed up for the event with some talented bloggers on board we set to Sharjah for some delicious feasting on.
To start with i was served a fresh Tamarind Juice, as it becomes now a tradition for every Ramadan Preview to get re freshened by the good selection of the Ramadan Juices. There was a Buffet section and foods were placed on tables, either way it is good though. I took a glimpse at the Appetizer section which had Hummus, Tabouleh, Fattoush, Chicken Liver, Baba Ganoush, Spinach Salad, Keshak, Farfaheen, Fateh, Cous Cous Greek Salads.
On our tables were Potato Harra, i loved this, small chinks of potatoes with the perfect spices mingled well, playfully done with a green sauce. Love the mild spiceness as it was mild and tingling.
We were served Fateh, consist of pieces of fresh, toasted, flatbread covered with chick peas and topped with olive oil.
Vine Leaves, Veg Cous Cous, Grilled Eggplants and Spinach Sauteed, a delicious feasting on my plates.
Centro team and Deepti came up with an interesting competition of decorating cakes in Ramadan theme, and look we won,our team won. We won one night stay at Centro Sharjah, thank you and a big shout from my side!!
Look we were served Mahisa, it was Kousa, a stuffed meaty flavored with mild spices.
Warak Enab, juicy and tender lamb chops, some delicious feasting out here at Centro Sharjah.
Vine leaves, stuffed with meat and the perfect mingling of the flavorful ingredients.
Fish Salona, a tomato curry based gravy with roasted grilled eggplants with boneless fish pieces, one of its kind. All my blogger friends loved this.
Chicken Kabsa, meat is barbecued in a deep hole in the ground that is covered while the meat cooks so that the flavor gets infused till the bones. Laid on a bed of rice, very flavorful and the aroma passes from tables around the place.
Now this place had a huge section of desserts and some real delicious feasting too. The variations of sweets served are Amawat, Macaroon, Mango Mohlabiah, Kashtalia, Basbusa, Omali etc.
The Cream Caramel Pudding was hit, soft and plumpy, loved the flavor playfully playing along with the sweetness and the caramelized element to it.
The buffet for Ramadan will be around 99 AED, so enjoy the lavish dinner with a lot of varieties in it at Centro Sharjah.
