We went for Dinner over Saffron, and i must say i feel proud that Jorhat has a place with a fine dining and a delicious food on it.

We ordered Lemon Chicken Coriander Soup and Sweet Corn Soup.

My personal hit was the Lemon Chicken Coriander Soup, the coriander aroma along with a tangy hi can be felt on every sip.

For starters we ordered Chicken Drums of Heaven and Crispy Baby corn.

The Drums of Heaven has always been a favorite in this place, the juicy, tender pieces of Chicken along with the red sauce was something worth trying.

The Crispy Baby Corn was so delicious and crispy and the corn was very well mingled with the outer coating and the red sauce used.

The place provided us with some delicious pickles and chutneys house made.

For main course we ordered a Panchratna Dal, where 5 pulses are mixed together to create this amazingly delicious dish. The best i have ever tasted, one can only eat this as a whole without ordering anything else.

We ordered a plain rice and to go well with it we had Bengali Fish Curry and a Tangy fish Curry.

The Bengali Fish Curry was way to perfect, the gravy was thick and creamy and the mustard can be felt on every bite.

The Tangy Fish Curry, the traditional Assamese dish has always been very close to my heart. The curry had the local fish along with the hint of tanginess was just perfect and beautifully played along with the rice we ordered.

The Dessert, my favorite part of the meal. This place has got some real good ones. We ordered Caramel Pudding with Chocolate Sauce and it was just WOW from me. The creamy pudding was delicious and the sauce played a good tick with that.

Overall my experience was awesome. A place in Jorhat where fine dining was lacking this place has taken over the place and gave the people a delicious yet a boutique restaurant where people could enjoy food along with the appealing ambiance.
