The thing about Mocha Guwahati is not only the coffee but the wide variety of food that they serve. Its is vibrant, different and full of surprises! The interiors very tacky with brick walls and beautiful bright seating’s with shimmered lights on the walls and ceilings. the swings for a cool seating and the juice bar gets a whole new look red seating’s. The concept of the new menu was of course according to the latest event going on, The World Cup. The menu’s were beautifully depicted on wooden cricket bats, loved the concept and love to see the spirit of cricket hood in the place.
Our host for the table was Mr. Rakib, love the concept of placing the name card on our tables as who will be looking after us the evening. A humble gentleman and a passionate foodie by heart as his suggestions were the best and we got to taste some real good food over there.
The cutlers presented beautifully and was very appealing to my eyes and of course my taste buds.
For the drink we ordered a Pink Lemonade and a Country Lemonade.
The Pink Lemonade had a hint of mint to it and rose syrup, love the color and beautifully served long glasses just added so much to the cooler.
The Country Lemonade had a hint of mint to it and the yellowish color was a super hit from my side.
For the starters we ordered Guntur Chicken, spicy chicken in hot and sour sauce, the spiciness can be felt on every bite. Very delicious and yet very presentable.
For the mains we had Chilly Garlic Noodles, the delicious and spicy noodles were very well presented and the aroma and flavor of the garlic so much added to the character of the dish.
To go well with the noodles we ordered Schezwan Chicken Gravy, the delicious chicken were juicy and tender and the sauce gravy was perfect to go well with the noodles served. The spiciness was perfect with the noodles to go along with.
My favorite part of the meal the dessert and as we ordered Mocha Lava Lava i was very excited about it. The Lava cake was served in a bowl with a scoop of ice cream on the plate. The presentation just was enough to win me over. The lava cake was hot and dark chocolate and very delicious. Every bite was chocolaty and the perfect combination of the cold and chill ice cream shouted out loud about the dessert served.
