I was invited for a Media Trip to Hilton Al Ain by The Idea Agency which has established itself amongst local market leaders in advertising, publishing, and public relations, with activities branching out to serve international clients in the Middle East and Europe. The group has been awarded contracts for several government and semi-government agencies such as DEWA, FEWA, DEPE, Air Arabia and University of Dubai (established by the Dubai Chamber). The group also handles the accounts of private companies in the Hospitality, Tourism, Fashion, Lifestyle, Real Estate and Education sectors. A big thank you to Flor B. Pamintuan the Public Relations Manager who has arranged a memorable trip to Hilton Al Ain by providing us with the utmost facilities and information. It was a group of 20 people from the Media like newspaper, magazine,TV and i represented as a blogger to it.

Our Media Trip objective was to highlight Hilton Al Ain as a perfect weekend getaway with different varieties of F&B offers and outside activities. It was a 2 night stay from 25th February to 28th February and the activities were scheduled and confirmed by us 1 week ago. There was a check in for a plus 1 so my husband accompanied me and we arrived at around 9 pm on a Thursday night from Dubai. We were welcomed with Cocktail drinks and were directly proceeded to Dinner at Flavours Restaurant (Please refer to my detailed blog about the food and ambiance at Flavours). I got introduced to Alona Kushnarenko the Marketing Manager of the hotel and she explained me the opening of the restaurant and the different theme cuisine night in it. Had a delicious dinner and as it was Thursday the cuisine was Arabic. After the dinner we headed towards our room.

Our room was Deluxe king and it had  a marble bathroom and views of the Hafeet Mountains from its outdoor balcony. It offers wired/wireless Internet connection, a sofa bed and a media hub. The view was terrific during the night as the city lights were like some glittering stars above the magnificent Jebel Hafeet. There was in house fresh fruits and sweets for us to relax and enjoy the stay.

I had a massage booking by the hotel and after the breakfast went for it. It was a Swedish Massage which uses long smooth strokes kneading, and circular movements on superficial layers of muscle using massage lotion and oil. It was very gentle and relaxing. My massage therapist was Natasha from Thailand and she so professional yet so humble.

The Friday Brunch at Flavours Restaurant was one of a kind and all the world cuisine can be found under one roof. The food was so delicious yet so presentable, (Please refer to my detailed blog about the food and ambiance at Flavours). It was a group brunch and all the other invitees were gathered on one table along with Alona the Marketing Lady of Hilton Al AIn. We had a beautiful get together with some delicious food on and networking was the main agenda of the brunch.

After the brunch and little relaxation we were invited to AESGC, Al Ain Shooting & Golf Club to see some horse races.
