Thursday Arabic Dinner
Now let me start with the Thursday Arabic dinner, which was a spread from the Arab Food Culture, the tradition so well decorated and presented, we cannot say NO to it. I ordered a cranberry juice with a hint of mint to it and it was so delicious and refreshing too after a long drive from Dubai.
As the night was Arabic the spread was shouting out loud of the Arab Culture with lentil soup, Kebbeh, Felafel, Meat Sambousek, Salad Bar (tomato, cucumber, lettuce, arragula etc), Dressings (Cocktail, Balsamico, Ranch, Lemon-Olive), Pickles, Cheese, Arabic Mezzes, Salads (Fattoush lettuce ,tomato and onion flavoured with fresh pita bread, Barbeque sumac prawns, Roast Eggplant etc).
The Main course had Beef Lamb, Fish Stew, Chicken Shawarma, Pasta, Chicken Briyani, Lamb Stew, Fried Eggplant, , Steam Vegetables, Bbay Lamb Cooked in Oven, Salmon marinated, Prawns and Avacado, Labneh, Stuffed Tomatoes etc. It was a delicious spread from its own country and the food was enjoyable yet luscious.
Arabic desserts has always been my favorite and this place had won me over with the spread of the delectable desserts starting with Um Ali, Cheese Cake, Date Cake, Creme Caramel, Date and Apricot Pie, Fresh fruit Salad, Semolina, Kunafa, Fresh Fruits, Fresh Fruit Salad etc.
Breakfast is always my favorite part of the meal and when it comes from Hilton’s finest delicacies and the talented Chef one has to crave for it. To start with The Omlette Live station with Cheese, Beef bacon, Smoked Turkey, Mushroom etc.
The Porridge Condiment (Raisin, Walnut, Pie Nuts etc), Pancake and Waffles (Chocolate Sauce, Mapple Syrup, Whipping Cream etc), Arabic Mezzes (Hummus, Labneh Mint, Mutabbal etc), Cold Cuts ( Cheddar Cheese, Kiri Cheese, Beef Ham, Smoked Turkey etc), Healthy Station on Ice (Lettuce, Onions, Balsamic Oil, Carrot etc), Yogurts (Homemade yogurt, Laban, Cereals, Fruit Yogurts, Muesli etc), Breads and Pastries (Butter Croissant, Dates Muffin, Danish Apple Raisin, Nutella Muffin), Toast Station (Brown Toast, Orange, Peach,Cherry Marmalade), Compotes (Apple, Grapes, Kiwi etc). The Juices (Orange, Mango. Apple, Carrot), Fruit Sation ( Banana, Pears, Sweet Melon, Mandarin, Fresh Fruit Salad) and the Fruit of the month s we visited on February it was Orange Desserts. The delectable breakfast spread at Flavours is a worth try out with a hint of the tradition with a modern twist to it.
The best part in dining at Hilton Al Ain is the Friday Brunch which is an international buffet menu with the touch from most part of the continent. The spreads are way to delicious and the fusion of so many cuisines from Japanese, Italian, Chinese, Arabic, Indian to Sea Food is beautifully presented and the opulence of the restaurant at a world class hotel remains the same.
The spreads were from Sushi station to Sea Food station, Salad Bars, Cold Mezzes, Salad Station, Bread Station, etc.
The Main Course had the luscious spread of Grilled Fish, Lamb Sausage, Steamed Vegetable, Roast Potato, Vegetable Tajine, Penne with Cream Sauce, Lamb Irish Stew, Mash Potato, Breaded Chicken. The dish very well presented and so very savoring and delicious.
The Live Station comprised of the Lamb Ribs and the Beef Steaks. The steaks were done according to the foodies wish and the Lamb Ribs were so delectable yet so juicy. The freshness of the meat can be felt on every bite of it.
The kids menu had a beautiful cartoon decor and the kids were all posing in front of their favorite cartoon character. The meal had some Fish Fingers, Breaded chicken, Pizzas and Pastas etc. I loved the kid menu as i unnoticedly tasted some of the delicious dishes for the kids.
The Dessert as always my favorite part of the meal and the Friday Brunch at Hilton Al Ain had got some real delicious desserts on. The Coffee Latte Dessert, Cheese Cake, Dessert Cake, Almond Pudding, Apple Shutrudel, Fruit Salad, Kunafa, UmAli, Clotted Cream, Orange White Chocolate etc are some real cravings you have to try on.
I had the pleasure of meeting Naiby (Pastry Chef), Jeevan (Omlette Station) and Anas Moosa (Sous Chef ) and had a good talk about the food used so fresh and the best quality in Hilton Al Ain. The Restaurant Manager Syed Ahsan Ali too is a vibrant person and so passionate about the food industry, he even prepared a drink Nisreenellakiss (Cranberry and Strawberry drink with a hint of chilli to it).
Overall my experience in dining at Flavours was a big hit, i love the different variation of the theme nights and the food prepared according to it. I highly recommend for every food lovers to go and try this place amidst the beautiful Al Ain.
