Kaleidoscope is one of the twenty outstanding restaurants and bars at Atlantis The Palm. It is the perfect restaurant for us who wanted a casual dining experience, a lively atmosphere and a splendid buffet with live cooking stations. A beautiful ambiance with dark and shimmer lights, a spacious seating are for our comfy, all cuisines dressed in the traditional theme to go by.
It was Eid Ul Fitr and we booked a table for 5 for lunch at this place, and i must say a worth tasted and visited, being eid there were some specials on and it was a heavenly feasting for us.
When we arrived a staff happily toured us around the buffet area before he led us to our table. I went back to the buffet, took my starter plate and the next time I looked around, i saw a huge lined up food is just waiting for us to dig in. The tables were almost full as it was holiday and people from all other countries came for Eid feasting over here.
Each buffet station was decorated based on the cuisine being served. We can actually guess just by merely looking at the stations from afar.
To start of with selection of Salads lettuces, herbs and vegetables were placed in different station without any hassle so it gets easy to distinguish from one another. It contained composed salads, salad dressings, conveyor belt, condiment and cold mezzeh all seating proudly in their places to be grab by the foodies around.
There were 3 Live Station, The Salad Live Station, Lunch Bites Sandwiches and Mussels Station. All serving there perfect yet delicious dishes in no time.
The Italian station had a big varieties in their dishes starting from Pizza, Anti Patsi, Pasta, Pasta Sauces, Italian station Chaffing dishes. I am die hard fan of the Italian cuisine and this place has got all my favorites and the list is never ending.
The Tandoor and Indian Curry Buffet was another hit by the team of Kaleidoscope, so beautifully placed in serving bowls with a touch of golden hue, so delicious and being an Indian my love for the cuisine is comes straight away from the heart. The perfect flavors and aromas and the delectable dishes placed with so much professionalism.
The Arabic Station placed with Lamb mandi, Oriental Rice, Salads both Hot and Cold Mezzeh, the different dressing , the breads were all very presentable and delicious.The Lamb Mandi was the shows steal, a grilled lamb placed on a bed of flavored rice, so delectable yet so flavorsome.
As i always refer in my every blog, i cannot say no to the Desserts, and if i have said no i would have missed some of the delicious sweets ever tried. A huge section of desserts placed and it was like an ocean of sweets and you have to grab your right fish on!! From pastry, fruits, hot cakes, custard to crumbles, cookies, ice creams etc. Just dig on and on.

Inside the traditional Indian bronze pots were tandoori and curries. Just in front a brick oven were Italian dishes. Asian Dim Sums were in bamboo steamer baskets and all kinds of sushi were travelling in a conveyor belt!
I have missed a lots of dishes to try specially the Asian Station, serving the soups, the noodle soups, the condiments and much more. As i said it was digging pearl from the vast ocean, i figuratively tried to chose the best ones with the perfect aroma and the flavors. A worth visited and worth tasted.
