On Valentines day we had our dinner at Lemongrass, what a crowd it was amidst the Thai ambiance and the love birds celebrating this very special day. We had to wait for a long time to grab a seat and after order we were almost served 45 mins late, the service should be good on these special occasions. Inspite of all this hassle the ambiance was beautifully decorated with balloons, and the entrance was an attractive spotting. The air was filled with love and the food bought just snatched away all my anger due to the late service.
Starting from the starters we are served with a complimentary Prawn Wafers with a Thai sauce, perfect to start the meal of.
For the drinks we ordered Lychee Lynchee mocktail, lychee muddled with fresh mint and blue curacao topped with lemon juice with ice on it, what a vibrant color, the first look at it was WOW from me.The taste was sweet and the flavor of the fresh mint added so much to the drink.
For our dinner we ordered Thai Jasmine rice, the perfect to go with any curries you order, the fresh aromatic rice is one of its kind in the place.
We ordered Pad Khing, stir fried chicken with wild mushroom and ginger sauce, the freshly sliced gingers and the sauce plays the trick and gives a mesmerizing aroma and flavor to it. The wild mushrooms are so perfectly blend with the ingredients and played well along with the chicken as well. So flashy to look at, a must order this at this place.
My other order was the Massaman Curry, chicken massaman curry with potato and peanuts in a coconut base., so aromatic and so flavorsome. I was not quiet sure about the adding of potatoes adding in a Thai curry, but it played well and the curry gave a very refreshing taste and flavor to it.
We thought of ordering dessert but after seeing the rush and the late service we dropped our idea and planned to come over dessert the next time.
